Declan O'Brien CD available now |
|
We are proud to announce the availability of the Declan O'Brien CD, Decalogues, for sale on this website. Recorded live in Loughrea Co Galway it is an impressive showcase of the talent that is Declan O'Brien. Many of the monologues were first heard on the radio (Gerry Ryan and Joe Duffy shows) but it is in the live environment that they really come to life. Declan has appeared at the annual Baffle Festival in Loughrea since 1999 so it made sense to record these shows for posterity. Enjoy! |

What IS goin' on. The fat bloke is obviously sickening for something. Three new poems in as many days. The latest one is "The Cullybacky Cowboy", a story of love sweat and tears and Hugo Duncan. Enjoy! |

What is going on. You wait about for a new poem for months on end and two come along at once! Dangerous Dan McHugh is a tale of love theft and intrigue in Great Crossmaglen Oil Rush. You never know, maybe Jimmy will get enough stuff together for a brand new CD. |

The rotund one has finally got off his ample behind and created another masterpiece - Jobseekers Allowance - a barbed commentry about the stupidity of the benefits system. You can read it by clicking the menu item to the left that says "Jobseekers Allowance". The CD is also going really well. Up to No. 7 on the Dungannon Hit Parade. A Swiss bank account and an apartment in Monserrat can't be far away. |
